Daylight Saving Time - Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years.
Observance of DST, and “Summer Time” in much of Europe, is often different around the world; many areas, countries and territories shift their clocks at different times throughout the year. During these changes, clocks are usually shifted by one hour. Some locations follow a set of standard, uniform rules for the start and end dates of DST, but some locations determine the dates on a much more dynamic basis.
Unless certain updates are applied to your computer, the time zone settings for your computer's system clock may be incorrect during this four-week period. In particular, you must make sure that both your Windows operating system and your calendar programs are updated.

Windows Vista and Office 2007 Training - Computer technologists to offer class in Huntingdon. Join Derek Ross and Scott Glass of RG Technologies, a KIZ company, from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29th, in the Halbritter Conference Room, Sill Business Incubator. Ross and Glass will show participants how to find their way around the new Microsoft operating system, Windows Vista. They will also learn what's new in Microsoft Office 2007. Registration is $10. Introducing My Help Desk - RG Technologies launches a revolutionary computer services and support tool. This innovative tool allows both new and returning customers to log onto our internal support system. Once a user is logged into My Help Desk with his or her name and password, they have a variety of powerful tasks at their fingertips. Customers have the ability to create new support requests as well as view the status of current ones that are in progress.  New support requests are sent directly to our certified and experienced help desk support staff. Expanding with JCEL - Starting this month, RG Technologies will start moving into Sill Business Incubator at the Juniata College Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (JCEL). This facility also houses the office of Huntingdon County Business and Industry (HCBI). This significant relocation will open up many new doors and opportunities for our company such as being right in the heart of the Juniata College/Huntingdon County Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ). The KIZ focuses on supporting the creation and growth of Life Sciences and Information Technology ventures.

Our office relocation will be a ground breaking occurrence for our company as well as for the Bob and Eileen Sill Business Incubator at JCEL. Never before has a tenant occupied the entire Light Assembly space. Until now, previous tenants leased individual sections of office space. We are very enthusiastic about our office relocation and look forward to our continued growth next to JCEL and HCBI.

Huntingdon County Pride Telethon - RG Technologies donates computer system and computer services to a local charity organization knows as Huntingdon County Pride. This bundle of hardware, software, and solutions was auctioned off during the 2007 Telethon. The commercial was produced by the Juniata Valley High Scholl Video Club.
